You wanna know the most overlooked reason people never get far with their “online business journey”?
They’re indecisive.
That’s it.
You pick Dropshipping, but as soon as some minor inconvenience pops up, you say “ahh maybe dropshipping is too saturated, I’ll just switch to short-form content creation or copywriting”.
And you wonder why you’ve been at this for several months but barely make any money.
It’s not that you don’t have enough experience or knowledge, you’re just always worried that you’re not using the most “lucrative” business model.
All you have to do is conduct some solid research, but once you’ve decided on a business model, don’t go back.
When I first got into the world of online business, I got excited and wanted to try everything.
When I was 14, I started selling FIFA ultimate team coins (only the real ones know)....
When I was 19, I started a blog which got 10 views over a year....
When I was 20, I started reselling clothes and gave up because I got lazy...
When I was 21, I started a podcast and got to the holy 20+ episode mark but got inconsistent and gave up...
I also tried to start a Tiktok, YouTube and Instagram account at the same time...
And failed again.
Around that time, I became a massive degenerate and invested a ton of money into Crypto and NFTs.
I made over $15k but lost it just as fast...
Keep in mind this was all in the span of a year.
This is easily avoidable, but so many people fall for the trap.
The trap of “trying things out”, if you will. It’s kind of like analysis paralysis.
If I had just stuck to one thing, and put in consistent, daily work, who knows how successful I would've been.
Over the last 9 months, I told myself that I would stick to growing a personal brand on Twitter for at least 1 year and make it work.
After 10k+ followers and my first high-ticket client later...
You wanna know the small change?
Stick to one thing, and screw everything else. Please don’t waste your time trying 5 different business models.
Your bank account will thank you when it's full.
I appreciate you taking the time to read this as always.
See ya next week.

Every week, I share key lessons I've learned about building creator-led businesses from my own content marketing agency as well as lessons from the clients that I work with.
One of the most powerful mindset shifts I've learned recently is the ability to play long-term games when it comes to money/business. For example, when building an agency, the short term mindset would be to keep as much money as possible, whether that's doing everything yourself, or paying employees as little as possible. Let's say you're making $20k/month and have an 80% margin on it ($16k/mo profit). Now the short-term view would be "let me just keep on doing everything myself" or "hire a...
One thing I’ve started to realize blatantly clearly is that the success of a business is inversely proportional to the number of beliefs you hold. It was never about the tactics. The how to get rich quick schemes. Why? Because they all work. You call them a scam because they didn’t work FOR YOU. Minor difference there. Every single thing that you’ve pursued and failed at was never down to the lack of knowledge. You already know this but knowledge can be found everywhere if you look hard...
You came to X to build your personal brand because you saw so many others before you built their audience successfully and made good money from it. So you decide to go all in and build your brand too. Doesn’t look too hard right? You post and post and post…and nothing… 2 months go by and you get demotivated and give up. “Maybe this isn’t for me”. So you take a break and go back to working the 9-5 you hate or the college where you struggle to pay attention to in any class. Another month goes...
